Cultural Background - Native Americans
1.) Native American bead work is well known for its beauty.
2.) The key concept is the mathematical symmetry.
3.) A type of symmetry the design is based on is four-fold symmetry.
4.) All of the images are symmetrical.
5.) The four images are Plains Indians Embroidery, Shoshone Beadwork, Pawnee Hide Buffalo Drum, and Navajo Rug.
6.) Reflection symmetry is when one side of an object is identical to the other side.
7.) One example of base four counting is that prayers are often said to the Four Winds.
8.) Four Fold symmetry #3 was commonly used for healing.
9.) Four fold symmetry #4 is shown as a parka decoration. It is used to make large parkas for "eskimos".
10.) Four Fold symmetry #5 is shown as a bead loom, as a Cartesian Coordinate system.

Communication
I usually communicate through text. It is fast and simple. But, there are situations where I prefer a phone call. For example, to get a ride home, I always call my parents so I know they they are aware I need a ride. Some people might prefer phone calls over all because they are more sincere and you can discuss things faster.

Scavenger Hunt
My strengths when doing these searches is finding a website to find the information really quick. On area that I could improve on is navigating around websites to find the actual information. Another thing I could improve on is refining my searches to get more accurate results.

My name is Adam. I am interested in many things, including sports, Netflix, and food. I live in a family of five, with two dogs.My favorite movie is probably "The Town" or "Saving Private Ryan". I don't really have a favorite book, because I don't read enough. My favorite TV show right now is The Walking Dead.
